#NFDA2024, Viewer Certificates & Moves that Matter

Big moves

Hi there!

The MemoryShare team has been buzzing with activity this month. Let's jump in.

🎪 NFDA 2024: A Week Well Spent

NFDA New Orleans treated us well this year. Visiting so many of you in person and hearing your livestream stories made the week fly by. Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth – these conversations help shape what we build next.

Speaking of build–enjoy a gif of Kyle running in circles setting up the booth this year.

👋 Meet Alan: From Funeral Director to MemoryShare

We're thrilled to welcome Alan Iverson to MemoryShare as our Client Success Director. Alan served as a Funeral Director for over 15 years. He brings valuable insight and a deep understanding of what matters most to funeral homes and families alike. We’re fully committed to serving our directors and bringing Alan on board is a crucial step in fulfilling that commitment to you.

Fun fact: Alan has live-streamed over 1000 services and was one of MemoryShare’s first customers in 2013! Safe to say, he’s an expert at delivering exceptional value and service to families.

📊 Feature Update: Viewer Certificate

Earlier this year we introduced Viewer Certificates – a comprehensive report showing the reach and impact of each live-streamed service.

As a reminder, each Viewer Certificate provides a comprehensive report for every streamed service, including:

  • Total attendance numbers

  • Viewer locations

  • Type of viewer

It’s wonderful seeing how funeral homes use them to enhance their families’ experience.

Take Ean and Crystal Sinn at Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center, for example. Since opening their funeral home in rural Minnesota this year, they’ve streamed every service but one.

The results? An impressive 1,165 viewers. 755 of them are within 50 miles of their funeral home– talk about local impact!

And their families are loving the certificates. Here's a text Ean received from a family they recently served:

Print the certificate or email it directly to families - it's becoming a valuable addition to aftercare across the country.

Stay Lively,

The MemoryShare Team
